POETRY OUT LOUD is on its way for the 2010-2011 school year, now with a wonderful boost from Front Porch, Inc! Like many other Tuolumne County folks, these good people have a true commitment to Tuolumne County’s quality of life and the strength of our community. Of major importance is their hope for the children of Tuolumne County to have support and opportunities for their growth and well-being. They stand quietly shoulder to shoulder with our schools, our community youth programs.
CSAC is grateful to be working on Poetry Out Loud 2010-2011 with FP’s help.
“When we read your proposal, we all got very excited to be a part of this program because we think it provides great opportunities for our local high school kids,” stated FP representative Cheryl Terry. Their gift will help our Poetry Recitation Coach Rick Foster with his travel expenses and help us fund a small stipend for his work. We will also use a portion of the Front Porch, Inc. funds to support our county-wide competition, which will be held in February 2011. Thanks so much to all the people at FP!
