Arts Survey 2004

The results of our “Arts Survey 2004” are in with approximately a 14% return rate. In response to the question, “What should CSAC concentrate on in the next 5 years?”, the top four received 95% agreement:

1. A permanent Gallery Space
2. Arts in Schools programs
3. Exhibitions of local artists
4. Work to restore California Arts Council funding

Similarly, 95% of respondents said, “yes, (we) would be willing to contribute financially or physically to the creation of a permanent arts facility”. These areas will be discussed at the Annual Meeting on June 21st at the Arts Center.

Please note that the survey is ongoing. You may download a copy* from this website and mail or fax it in; or come down to the Arts Council office and fill it out there. Thank you to all who took the time to share their interest and concern for the arts in Tuolumne County and the State.
